Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of anyscript.app and any related services, APIs, and applications operated by AnyScript ("AnyScript", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, submitting a URL as a guest, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

AnyScript is an AI-powered transcription service for short-form video. The service:

• Accepts public TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts URLs that you submit.
• Generates a written transcript of the spoken audio in the video.
• Offers optional translation of that transcript into other languages.
• Generates AI script breakdowns that analyze the hook, pacing, structure, and call-to-action of the source video.

The service is delivered as a web application. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and may pause or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, or commercial reasons.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 if you are in the EEA or the UK) to use AnyScript. By using the service you represent that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

4. Your Account

• You can use AnyScript as a guest within the guest quota, or sign in with email or Google to unlock the Free tier.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@anyscript.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; deletion is irreversible.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — see Sections 6 and 13.

5. Plans, Billing, and Refunds

Plan tiers

• Guest — no sign-up. Subject to a small daily transcription / translation quota and a lifetime batch limit.
• Free — signed-in. Higher daily limits than Guest; AI script breakdown is locked.
• Pro — paid monthly or annual subscription. Unlimited transcripts and translations within fair-use rate limits, expanded batch submissions, AI breakdown unlocked.
• Lifetime — one-time purchase that grants the Pro feature set for the lifetime of the product (where offered).

Current pricing is shown on our pricing page; the prices displayed at checkout are authoritative.

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for that plan, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.
• We may change subscription prices for future renewals with at least 14 days' prior notice.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, shown on the checkout page. By purchasing a plan you also agree to that provider's terms. We do not store full payment-card data on our servers.

Refunds

• Subscriptions. All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If a clear billing error or persistent service unavailability prevents you from using a feature you paid for, contact support@anyscript.app within 7 days and we will review your request in good faith.
• Lifetime purchase. Eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not consumed substantial AI-breakdown usage. After 7 days the purchase is final.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we may downgrade your account to the Free tier until the issue is resolved.

Taxes

Stated prices exclude any sales tax, VAT, or GST that the payment processor is required to collect for your jurisdiction; those amounts will be added at checkout where applicable.

6. Acceptable Use and Fair Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or any third party's rights, including intellectual-property rights.
• Submit URLs to videos that are private, age-restricted, or that you do not have the right to transcribe or analyze under the source platform's terms and applicable copyright law.
• Use AnyScript to harass, defame, dox, or threaten any person, or to produce content that promotes hate, sexual exploitation of minors, or violence.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any plan, quota, or rate limit — including by automating sign-ups, rotating IP addresses, sharing credentials at scale, or reverse-engineering internal APIs.
• Use the service to build, train, or improve a competing transcription, translation, or video-analysis product.
• Resell, white-label, or expose the service through your own product without a written agreement with us.
• Probe, scan, or attack our infrastructure; introduce malware; interfere with other users' access.

Fair use for Pro

The Pro plan is marketed as "unlimited" in normal use. To keep the service available and affordable for everyone, Pro is subject to soft burst and rolling-window rate limits. Sustained usage that exceeds reasonable individual creator patterns — for example, traffic indistinguishable from automated scraping — may be rate-limited, paused, or, in repeated cases, terminated under this Section. We will contact you before terminating where practical.

7. Submitted URLs and Source Video Content

By submitting any URL to AnyScript, you confirm that you have the right to transcribe and analyze the audio of that video — whether because you are the creator of the video, have the creator's express permission, or have another lawful basis (such as fair use or fair dealing under applicable copyright law). You are solely responsible for that determination. AnyScript does not independently verify or warrant that you hold the necessary rights, and we may suspend or terminate access if we receive a credible claim that submissions made under your account infringe a third party's rights.

In addition:

• The URLs you submit must point to publicly accessible videos on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube.
• AnyScript is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Meta (Instagram), or Google (YouTube). All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. See our Legal Notice for the full trademark, fair-use, and service-description position.
• We may refuse to process URLs that violate Section 6, that target private or restricted content, or that we reasonably believe are being used to infringe intellectual-property rights.

8. Generated Output

• Your transcripts. You own the transcripts, translations, and AI-generated breakdowns produced from URLs you submit, subject to any rights of the original video creator in the underlying speech and ideas.
• Accuracy. Generated output is produced by automated speech-recognition and language models. It may contain errors, mistranslations, or hallucinated insights. You must review output before relying on it. AnyScript is not liable for decisions you make based on generated output.
• Improvement of the service. We may use de-identified, aggregated signals (for example: model latencies, character-error-rate samples) to monitor and improve service quality. We do not use your submitted URLs, transcripts, or AI breakdowns to train third-party public AI models.

9. Intellectual Property in the Service

The AnyScript site, brand, logo, source code, designs, copy, and underlying technology are owned by AnyScript and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for its intended purpose.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the service, nor reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent applicable law allows.

10. Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers for payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting, storage, AI transcription and language processing, and similar functions. Where you interact with such a provider directly (for example, on the checkout page), your use is also subject to that provider's terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third-party provider beyond our reasonable control.

11. Service Availability

We aim to keep AnyScript available 24/7 but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, security incidents, upstream-provider outages, and force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. Where reasonable, we will give advance notice of material changes that materially reduce paid plan functionality.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR PRODUCE ACCURATE TRANSCRIPTS, TRANSLATIONS, OR AI ANALYSIS. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANYSCRIPT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ANYSCRIPT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$50.

14. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AnyScript and its officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the service, (b) URLs or content you submitted, or (c) your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the service to you is no longer commercially reasonable. You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from your account settings. Sections 8, 9, and 12–18 survive termination.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service before the effective date.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AnyScript is operated, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Any dispute arising out of or related to the service will be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a non-waivable consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

18. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and AnyScript regarding the service.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a corporate transaction.
• Notices. We will notify you by email or in-app banner. You can reach us at support@anyscript.app.
